More than 120 parents, students and staff from every school in Pattonville met at a districtwide Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) meeting on Aug. 31 to review potential plans for facility updates and to prioritize the needs for their buildings. Representatives from the architectural firm Ittner Cordogan Clark Group, along with Pattonville district and school leaders, were on hand to share the district’s work to date on developing a new master facilities plan and answer questions. The individual school improvement teams heard an overview from the architects and then met and discussed the project lists developed for their schools.
Missouri families who have children who qualified for free or reduced price meals can once more apply for Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits to help cover food costs they experienced while their student was not doing in-seat learning due to the pandemic. However, the P-EBT 2020-2021 program is very different from last year’s program. Here are highlights of those changes:
The Pattonville School District has been awarded a 2021 Top Workplace honor by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The district was ranked No. 11 among the Top 15 large employers in the St. Louis area (employers with 500 or more employees). This is the seventh year in a row Pattonville has earned Top Workplace recognition, and no other school district was ranked higher on the list than Pattonville.
Only 151 businesses and organizations received recognition this year. The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection.
